Grace, peace and mercy be unto you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
With all that is going on in our world today, especially with this virus, we sometimes forget that Lent is still here. We still march along with Jesus as he marches to the cross, we still do all those things we promise to do in this season, and we still remember the wonderful Son of God who gave himself on the cross for us.
This season of Lent helps us to concentrate on the goodness of our Savior. Lent helps us to focus on the loving kindness that our Jesus shows us everyday. Lent focuses us on our sin and what we must do to bring ourselves closer to our Christ.
I know that it is not easy, even a little scary, but focus on Christ, our Redeemer, our Healer, our Savior. Continue your Lenten practices, your Lenten focus.
